Tucked away in Scotland’s legendary Speyside whisky region, the team at Speyside Brewery are all about making seriously good beer. Inspired by centuries of brewing and distilling heritage, they mix tradition with modern techniques to craft beers that are full of character and flavour.
It all starts with top-notch ingredients; crystal-clear local water, Scottish-grown barley whenever they can get it and the freshest hops around. They don’t cut corners because great beer deserves great ingredients. Head Brewer Ritchie Duncan works his magic to make sure every batch is consistently top quality and our temperature-controlled cold store keeps every keg and can in perfect condition until it reaches your glass.
They are a small but mighty team of just three people, which means they do it all - brewing, kegging, and probably tasting a little too (you know, for quality control). At the end of the day, the team make beers they like to drink and we hope you like them too.
Because the brewery is based in whisky country, they take things up a notch by ageing some of their beers in Scottish Single Malt barrels. These locally made barrels give the limited-edition brews deep, complex flavours you won’t find anywhere else.
At Speyside Brewery, they’re all about passion, quality, and making beer that’s as fun to drink as it is to brew.
We’ve chosen their IPA to feature this month and the full range is available from the Speyside Brewery website including their 7.5% barrel aged stout.
