Karma, is the first beer brewed by Referendum. Following a series of beer lovers votes, Mobberley Brewhouse and Best of British Beer created a hoppy India Pale Lager and packaged it in a 440ml can.
Even the name was voted on.
As befits the most popular beer style in Britain today, it was unanimous that the beer be an IPA. Maybe it was the heatwave that resulted in an IPA lager being chosen but we're glad it was as it really works.
More deeply flavoured than a lager and crisper than a traditional IPA this is a combination that zings.
Brewed with a lager malt and an expert blend of Cascade and Simcoe, each case contains 12 x 440ml cans of 4.4% ABV India Pale Lager.
Pop a few in the fridge perfect for your Sunday night curry.
James believes is keeping as much of the hop flavour present as possible so this beer is unfiltered and unfined and as such will have a slight natural hop haze.
