After a brief period in banking and 15 years of working for a large regional brewer, Jem Ham decided to go it alone and he started Cheddar Ales.

Based on a farm on the outskirts of the beautiful village, he has created a fantastic local business with a tap room, beer garden, shop, live music and regular events.

The range of Cheddar ales changes regularly as Jem creates future classics and revisits recipes from the past.
